Prohibited & Restricted Items

To keep ListAndList lawful and safe, and to comply with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, the following items and activities may not be listed, advertised, or solicited on the Platform. This list is not exhaustive — anything illegal under UAE law is prohibited even if not named here.
Listings that breach this policy are removed and may lead to account suspension. Some categories are restricted rather than banned: they are allowed only where you hold the correct UAE licence and comply with all applicable rules.
Strictly prohibited
Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, and their parts or accessories.
Drugs and narcotics of any kind, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia.
Prescription medicines, pharmaceuticals, and unlicensed health or medical products. [LAWYER REVIEW]
Wildlife, endangered species, ivory, and products made from protected animals.
Counterfeit, replica, or pirated goods, and items that infringe trademarks or copyright.
Pornographic or sexually explicit material, escort or any sex-work services.
Human organs, bodily fluids, or human trafficking of any form.
Forged, stolen, or fraudulent documents, IDs, passports, visas, or currency, and stolen goods.
Gambling, betting, lotteries, and games of chance.
Materials that insult religion, incite hatred or violence, or breach the UAE’s cybercrime and public-morality laws.
Restricted — only with the correct UAE licence
Alcohol — may not be sold or advertised except by outlets holding the required UAE licence. [LAWYER REVIEW]
Tobacco, cigarettes, shisha, and vaping / e-cigarette products — restricted and subject to UAE controls and age limits. [LAWYER REVIEW]
Financial services, loans, credit, money exchange, cryptocurrency schemes, and investment or “get-rich” solicitations — prohibited unless you are licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE or the Securities and Commodities Authority. [LAWYER REVIEW]
Regulated professional services (for example real-estate brokerage, legal, or medical services) — only where you hold the licence required by the relevant UAE authority. [LAWYER REVIEW]
Live animals and pets — only in line with UAE animal-welfare and trade rules.

If you see a listing that breaks these rules, use the “Report this listing” link on the listing page. Reports are recorded and reviewed, and confirmed violations are removed.
